Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (Guar Gum) is a cationic surfactant, it is soluble in cold water and hot water, but insoluble in oil, grease, hydrocarbon, ketone and ester. The aqueous solution is tasteless, odorless, non-toxic and neutral. The change in viscosity depends on the particle size, pH and temperature. It is compatible with other vegetable gums, starches and water-soluble proteins. Used as thickener, flocculant, flotation agent, film-forming agent and sizing agent, etc.

Carrageenan is a hydrophilic colloid extracted from some red algae seaweed. Its chemical structure is calcium, potassium, sodium and ammonium salts of polysaccharide sulfates composed of galactose and anhydrogalactose. Carrageenan has the characteristics of forming hydrophilic colloid, gel, thickening, emulsifying, embossing, stable dispersion, etc.
